Due to my family's financial status, I need to earn my savings, especially for the school fee, by working as a private (tutorial) teacher in these few years. That's the reason why I didn't participate in any society at the CUHK throughout the academic years. As a mature person, I think relieving my family's financial burden is always in my highest priority.
In addition to this, in order to expand my horizons, I took some other courses out of my chemistry major, for instance, Biochemistry and Education. This act undoubtedly limited my time for participating in other extra-curricular activities; however, it's worth for me to do so.
